Blood Ties Four Directions Centre offers a number of programs and services
Support Programs – 6189 6th Avenue
- Support & counselling for clients of Blood Ties
- Health services, programs and navigation
- Drop-in program (8:30-12:00 p.m. and 1:00-4:30 p.m.)
- Wellness Wednesday Group (from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.)
- Outreach nurse every second Wednesday afternoon (from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.)
- Drug User Support Group on Tuesday (2pm to 3:30pm)
- Housing services, programs and navigation
Supervised Consumption Site – 6189 6th Avenue (entrance off of 5th Avenue)
Monday to Friday from 12pm-9pm.
- A safe and confidential space for people to consume their drugs by injection, snorting, smoking or swallowing.
- Friendly and non-judgmental staff will help out in the event of an overdose and can provide health care services, referrals, supportive listening, and other support as needed.
- Drug checking services including FTIR Spectrometer
- Computer access, snacks, hot drinks, and a telephone available to people accessing our services.
- Naloxone and harm reduction kits.
- Education on harm reduction and overdose prevention.
